Role Overview:
FlyFlat is seeking a full-time Customer Service Associate to handle customer communications for booking complex international air itineraries for discerning clientele, with patience and a willingness to please. The ideal candidate has an advanced level of written English and at least an intermediate level of spoken English. This position is remote and operates during normal business hours for EST time. The expected monthly take-home pay for this role is $700-1200, contingent on experience and monthly profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Correspond with customers via email and chat to provide the best travel itineraries and resolve flight issues.
- Service incoming calls, messages, and emails from both direct consumers and travel agents, offering flight options and accurate pricing.
- Search for miles and points flight availability (training provided).
- Flag and escalate important customer issues to leadership.
- Complete cross-functional and customer success-specific tasks.
- Create special moments and surprise and delight experiences for FlyFlat customers.
- Share and elevate customer success stories.
- Proactively suggest customer-facing language and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in customer experience, customer success, or customer service.
- Sabre or other GDS booking experience
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to build relationships quickly and work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
- Clear explanation skills for complex topics.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a growing environment.
- Access to a distraction-free workspace with excellent internet connectivity.
Nice to have experience:
- Previous roles in the travel industry.
- International travel experience.
- Remote work experience.
- Interest and knowledge of airline or credit card loyalty programs.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $500-700 base depending on experience.
- Commissions: 3% of all gross profits shared among the team.
- Expected Monthly Take-Home Salary: $700-1200.

Training Period, 2 months
$700
If the following criteria is met for 60 days post training period:
(otherwise continued $450/month)
- Maintain 60 second average response time to clients, across all FlyFlat platforms
- Keep all internal tracking systems updated at all times
- Follow and execute 100% process implementation (external and internal)
- Average individual mileage search request time is 30min or less
