Are you an inspiring lead with experience in medicine development? We are searching for a Global Product Lead (GPL) to join our leadership team. At AstraZeneca, we are not afraid to do things differently. We are resetting expectations of what a bio-pharmaceutical company can be. This means we are opening up new ways to work, pioneering groundbreaking methods and bringing unexpected teams together.
Committed to living our values – they guide our behaviors, actions and decisions, every day! Building on a 50-year heritage in respiratory care, our ambition is to transform the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by driving earlier, biology-led treatment, eliminating preventable asthma attacks, and removing COPD as a top-three leading cause of death. With common pathways and underlying disease drivers across respiratory and immunology, we are following the science from chronic lung diseases to immune-driven diseases.
Our ambition is to eliminate asthma attacks and achieve clinical remission, even in people with the most severe asthma.
Our strategy is to:
- Reinforce our anti-inflammatory reliever inhaled portfolio as the backbone of care.
- Drive towards clinical remission with systemic biologics, and with novel oral and inhaled medicines (‘pre-biologics’) for those patients not controlled on current therapies.
