Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be on site in Clearfield, UT.

                           

Role Description & Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Job Duties:

  • Perform mechanical and or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment

  • Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including our CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes etc

  • Job activities align with that of a typical Millwright position

  • Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned

Basic Qualifications for a Maintenance Mechanic 3:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.
  • Experience with data system installations.
  • Ability to be flexible to occasionally work off shifts and weekends when required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance prior to start.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
  • Ability to learn CNC machinery equipment
  • Ability to support a 4/10 work schedule (Monday - Thursday, Day Shift)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working on computers – Maximo and Service now experience.
  • Hands-on Maintenance experience with Cat 6E and Fiber optic cabling and systems installation.
  • Hands-on experience with construction tools and installation techniques.
  • Willingness to grow as a valued team member.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability and willingness to gain knowledge through training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Active, In scope DoD Secret or SCI clearance

Salary Range: $49,900.00 - $83,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
