About the role:
- Since launching into retail in 2021, we have seen significant growth and are seeking a talented Retail Fulfillment Associate to support our global retail expansion! The ideal candidate will be passionate about fulfillment, logistics, and building relationships with large retailers!
- This role will report to the Sr. Retail Fulfillment Manager.
- This is a full-time (hybrid) role with company benefits based out of Marina Del Rey, CA.
- The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $80,000 to $90,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate inventory and order management: Oversee the allocation and management of inventory across multiple domestic and international 3PL facilities, ensuring precise and timely fulfillment.
- Freight and logistics oversight: Collaborate with customers, freight groups, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to streamline the collection and organization of freight shipments from various 3PLs, ensuring efficiency and on-time delivery.
- ERP management: Maintain and update the NetSuite system with the latest order information, ensuring accuracy and real-time visibility of fulfillment records.
- Freight quote management: Request and evaluate freight quotes as needed from various logistics partners to optimize cost and service level agreements.
- International order management: Coordinate the transportation of international orders across air, land, and sea modes, utilizing freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
- Shipment documentation: Prepare, review, and manage all related shipping documentation for 3PL warehouses and manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Domestic transportation coordination: Arrange domestic shipments from assembly sites to customers, either directly through the internal transportation team or via 3PL freight brokers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Production collaboration: Work closely with Kitting & Assembly facilities to stay aligned with production schedules and ensure timely updates on manufacturing progress.
- Customer compliance management: Review and implement customer-specific compliance requirements, including EDI, labeling, shipping, and delivery protocols, ensuring all standards are met.
About you:
- Experience: 4+ years in retail/wholesale fulfillment, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Proven expertise in working with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience preferred.
- Logistics expertise: Minimum of 2+ years working with 3PL providers, with well-established knowledge of freight carrier services, processes, and best practices.
- Communication and organization: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous approach to detail and organization.
- Adaptability: Quick learner and self-starter, able to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high accuracy.
- Industry knowledge: Passion for health, wellness, and personal care industries, with previous experience in consumer products highly desirable.
- Problem-solving and ownership: Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, thrives in situations requiring resourcefulness, and shows a high level of ownership and accountability in driving results.
