Job Summary
Real Chemistry is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our team! Reporting to the Director of Payroll, you will play a key role in processing multi-state payrolls for over 2,000 employees and resolving payroll discrepancies.
What You’ll Do:
Manage bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multi-state employees, including new hires, benefit deductions, retro pay, terminations, tax changes, 401k, and garnishments.
Assist with semi-monthly payroll for 2,000+ employees.
Perform Workday and ADP integration interfaces weekly.
Prepare monthly payroll reports and reconciliations.
Handle manual checks for out-of-cycle payments.
Ensure accurate employee timecards using Workday and ADP Workforce Now.
Audit payroll information and address discrepancies.
Provide customer service for payroll inquiries.
Conduct ad hoc payroll audits and closing activities.
Assist with audits (401k, Worker’s Compensation) and payroll tax compliance.
Support HR and Finance with special projects and year-end closing.
Serve as backup for the Payroll Department.
Handle garnishment of wages, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

What you should have:
Proficient in ADP Workforce Now, Payroll & Time and Attendance.
Familiar with ADP General Ledger, Tax Compliance, and Workday Integration.
Knowledge of Canadian payroll processing.
Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and deadline management.
Experience in handling confidential information.
Proven success in high-volume, multi-state payroll processing.
3+ years in full-cycle, in-house payroll processing.
Pay Range: $68,000 - $75,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
