The Position

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the R&D infrastructure (lab, office space, instrumentation) project to match the development activities of the lab
  • Daily management and inspection of lab safety, such as chemical safety, biosafety and waste management, etc.
  • Lead the test material purchasing with compliance and teat material usage E2E management
  • Manage R&D equipment order, qualification and maintenance to ensure the reliability of equipment
  • Daily management and inspection of lab safety, such as chemical safety, biosafety and waste management, etc.
  • Coordinate the set up and management of local biospecimen collection (serum, plasma, urin)
  • Create actionable projects and workflow that ensure the smooth and timely start-up, and execution of Sample Preparation projects within the R&D unit.
  • Establishing, maintenance and management of documentation for R&D; Interaction and collaboration to all relevant interfaces and local and global functions and teams;
  • Ensure strong interfaces to all group members within the department as well to other involved units (e.g. other R&D units, manufacturing, quality, regulatory) and external partners
  • Assists with the training of new employees

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor, preferred in biology, biochemistry, clinical chemistry or related subjects
  • 3-5 years experience in biospecimen collection activities or in clinical laboratory setting
  • Native or professional in Chinese, spoken and written English
