About Us:
The Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment (University of Oxford), in an innovative partnership with Boundless Learning is proud to offer a unique series of professional development courses to advance careers in sustainability. We invite applications for the position of Online Course Facilitator, a role critical to nurturing the next generation of leaders across the sustainability, law, business, cooling resilience, and finance sectors.
The role:
and feedback within our bespoke Virtual Learning Environment. Your expertise will guide learners through discussion forums, live sessions, and assessment feedback, ensuring their success and satisfaction. Course Facilitators must have a broad range of knowledge on sustainability, an understanding of how it interrelates with business, and an ability to demonstrate their presence and engagement. We are currently seeking experienced professionals to facilitate courses in the following areas:
- Sustainable Finance
- Sustainable Cooling
- Sustainable Law
- Future of Sustainable Business
About you:
We're looking for dedicated, organized, and knowledgeable professionals with a deep passion for sustainability and its various facets, including law, business strategies, sustainable cooling, and finance. Ideal candidates will have a blend of academic achievement and professional experience, a talent for online education and a desire to contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential:
- Postgraduate in relevant fields (Law, Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance), or undergraduate qualifications with substantial professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of senior-level professional experience related to sustainability, environment, or climate.
- Proven track record of teaching and supporting adult learners online, within higher education or professional settings.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong passion for sharing knowledge.
- Proficiency in digital technologies, with availability to support live sessions (high-speed internet, camera, microphone).
Desirable Attributes:
- Doctorate in relevant sustainability fields.
- Evidence of scholarship, research activity, or current professional work in specific sustainability sectors.
- Quick adaptability to new systems and processes.
