Overview: We are seeking a diligent and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our billing and payroll processes and assisting with sales calls to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing and Payroll:
Assist in the preparation and processing of billing statements and invoices.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
Resolve any billing or payroll discrepancies by liaising with relevant departments and personnel.
Tracking operational data for billing purposes.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
Maintain organized records and files for easy retrieval and review.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
Proven experience in billing, payroll, or a related administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel (required), Outlook
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience in a transportation or logistics company is a plus.
