Job Description
Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of ice hockey, coaches technique and strategy. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment and is the liaison to strength and conditioning. Work with hudl software for both team and individual player video. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations.

Coordinates various aspects of women's ice hockey operation including travel, scheduling, camp and clinic operations, mailings and communications.   Utilizes XOs software to analyze and break down game film for coaches. Serves as Film & Editing director for all video content on practice, games and opponents. Coordinates quality control programs for the women's ice hockey program.  Assists with video operations.  Serves as a liaison for the women's ice hockey program with other areas of the department and the University.   Ensures compliance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University policies and procedures.  Performs other related administrative duties as they relate to daily women's ice hockey operations, booster and charity organizations and alumni needs. Coordinates special events and community involvement.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Women's Ice Hockey.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


Additional Education Desired
Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


Required Qualifications
Required: Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of ice hockey. Position requires extensive travel during recruiting process.

Desired: Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations; experience working with a diverse population; 3+ years of college coaching experience, experience with hudl software.
