Bulga Open Cut is seeking an innovative and experienced Training Officer to facilitate the training functions within the Mining Production Department. Supporting the site Training Coordinator, you will coordinate activities of crew trainers in meeting the requirements under the Training & Competency Management Plan.

You will be instrumental in the ongoing development of training and assessment documentation, systems and programs, while maintaining strong interpersonal and presentation skills in training delivery. As a self-starter, personal development and career opportunities will be available within Bulga Open Cut and Glencore, where your technical knowledge of mining operations, and the training and assessment process will be recognised and rewarded.

The successful candidate will hold relevant Training and Assessment accreditation and a strong background in production coal mining or similar environments. You will utilise your technical capabilities in Microsoft Office and experience with training system interfaces to assist in the development of training tools, including E-learning, simulation programs and site training packages.
