Job Title: Director of Global Brand Planning & Merchandising– Emerging Brands

Reports to:  VP/ GM Emerging Brands

Location:  Greater Santa Barbara/Los Angeles Area

The Role

The Director of Global Brand Planning & Merchandising – Emerging brands will lead the development and implementation of a long-range Global MFP and Merchandising strategy for Emerging Brands that encompasses all elements of the value proposition (Right Product at the Right Place at the Right Time for the Right Consumer). Leveraging Global Omni-channel and wholesale insights, trend, brand, and category strategies, this person will define the seasonal global consumer right assortments and flow in support of Teva and Ahnu’s financial goals and strategic positioning. Lead the partnership with demand and Supply planning on behalf of the brand and communicate across the regions on key updates and changes in product launches, delays and shifts.  Create a global plan in partnership with the commercial team and the supply team to ensure all regions have the proper support through the seasonal planning process.  She/he will build relationships with key cross-functional business partners including Product, Brand, Marketing, DTC, Sales & Demand Planning, as well as Regional Partners to help create a consistent brand presentation at all levels of global distribution and consumer access. This individual will work closely with Product Creation, to not only build the seasonal MFP plan, but ensure that the metrics in the plan are being met.

At its core, this role will function as the Global Merchandising Hub, partnering with the Regional Merchandising Teams to drive a disciplined, consistent, efficient and sustainable approach to the Merchandising function and Go-To-Market activities. She/he will partner with GTM, Marketing, Product Management and Commercial teams to instill discipline and focus at all critical milestones and will be the lead voice for Merchandising during the GTM process milestones and Brand Conferences.

$195,000 - 210,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
