Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday HRIS Reporting Analyst to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and delivering actionable insights through HR reporting and data analysis. This role further supports the Firm’s needs around business process configuration, ensuring data integrity, testing system changes and semi-annual releases, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities to enhance HR processes and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex reports and dashboards using Workday’s reporting tools (Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics, People Analytics, etc.).
    • Analyze HR data trends and metrics, providing insights to support strategic HR initiatives.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and data validations.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide support to HR and business stakeholders on reporting tools and data-related inquiries.
    • Conduct training sessions for HR team members and end-users on report usage and data interpretation.
  • Project Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other departments to gather reporting requirements and understand business needs.
    • Assist in the implementation of new HR processes and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with reporting capabilities.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for improving HR data processes and reporting efficiencies.
    • Recommend best practices and strategies for HR data management and reporting.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure adherence to data privacy policies and compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Monitor user access and security protocols within the Workday system.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of report specifications, processes, and data definitions.
    • Create user manuals and training materials for reporting tools and processes.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Module Support:
    • Assist with other Workday as needed to support overall HR operations. (Knowledge of Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Peakon, People Analytics, Time Tracking are a plus)
    • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance system integration and functionality.
  • Workday Upgrade Support:
    • Support the semi-annual Workday upgrade process, including testing new features, updating documentation, and training users on changes.
    • Collaborate with the HRIS team to ensure a smooth transition during upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in HRIS reporting and analytics, preferably with Workday.
    • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Workday Reporting (Advanced Reporting, Matrix Reports, etc.).
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
    • Provable experience with Excel, PowerPoint, or other data visualization tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and manage multiple projects from start to finish with shifting priorities effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certification, training or implementation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Law firm experience is a plus.
  • Workday implementation experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility in work hours. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace conducive to productivity. Occasional meetings may require availability during standard business hours.

For Westchester County, NY the expected hourly wage for this position is between $120,000 and $135,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
