The Manager of Business Analytics is responsible for leading a team of analysts to deliver data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations. The Manager of Business Analytics will collaborate closely with various departments to identify business needs and develop analytical solutions that drive business performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the analytics team.
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality, timely, and accurate analyses and reports.
Data Management and Analysis:
- Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all analytics processes.
- Develop and implement data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support business needs.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with business units to understand their objectives and analytical needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support business goals.
Reporting and Visualization:
- Design and deliver comprehensive reports and visualizations that effectively communicate insights.
- Utilize advanced data visualization techniques to present complex data in an understandable format.
- Ensure that all reporting is aligned with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Project Management:
- Manage analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Prioritize and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges that arise.
Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in business analytics and data modeling.
- Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the analytics function.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business analytics, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R,, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and experience in integrating data from multiple sources is a plus.
