STV is currently seeking a Civil Engineer / Drainage Engineering Specialist for our Transportation division in our Jacksonville, FL office. This position provides an opportunity to work on a variety of public projects with a focus on transportation design.

Responsibilities include:

Designing drainage networks for roadway systems
Preparing drainage reports and culvert/bridge hydrologic & hydraulic studies
Coordinating roadway drainage with various Roadway/Structures Design Groups
Permitting through various Water Management Districts.
Opportunities to play a role in project development with both existing and new clients

Required Skills & Required Experience:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project experience
Knowledge of roadway drainage systems, highway culverts, and stormwater management facilities
Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer drainage features
Experience with stormwater software such as ICPR, HY-8, ASAD, HEC-RAS,
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships
Excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn.
Experience with developing FDOT Bridge Hydraulic Reports and floodplain modeling is preferred but not required

Compensation Range:

$60,842.00 - $81,122.00
