Responsibilities include:
- Designing drainage networks for roadway systems
- Preparing drainage reports and culvert/bridge hydrologic & hydraulic studies
- Coordinating roadway drainage with various Roadway/Structures Design Groups
- Permitting through various Water Management Districts.
- Opportunities to play a role in project development with both existing and new clients
Required Skills & Required Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project experience
- Knowledge of roadway drainage systems, highway culverts, and stormwater management facilities
- Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer drainage features
- Experience with stormwater software such as ICPR, HY-8, ASAD, HEC-RAS,
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn.
- Experience with developing FDOT Bridge Hydraulic Reports and floodplain modeling is preferred but not required
Compensation Range:
