Salary:
The Senior Production Manager will support the men’s team by owning the production life cycle of designated product categories/factories that include woven, knits, and sweaters. This individual will manage men’s apparel/certain accessories and ensure products are executed to the standards of Kith.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Confirm all final costing/X factories at Buy stage with factories and partners based on the pre-negotiated prices that your PD counterpart advised during PO stage.
- Issue and Maintain all Purchase Orders.
- Ensure that weekly T&As and monthly liability charts are received, reviewed, and analyzed to ensure the most accurate style/material information is being reported
- Relay all and maintain all key calendar dates provided by the Director of Production to all relevant cross functional teams and counterparts
- Log and track all incoming samples including PPS, TOP, and any additional marketing samples needed.
- Ensure that PLM/ERP systems are kept up to date (i.e. PO ISSUANCE, UPC DATA FILES, CARE LABELS, COSTING, DELIVERY UPDATES, ETC.)
- Review and approve care labels/bulk submits.
- Request, organize, and review all testing reports and flag any issues to the appropriate teams.
- Will assist in approving all QC inspection reports with our factories. This includes preparing all QC reports and TOP’s to be reviewed prior to handover.
- Work closely with the Director of production, design, and development counterparts to ensure all product information is being received and reviewed in a timely manner for upcoming order requests and meetings.
- Ensure relevant information is being communicated to Design and PPS are being fit/commented on in a timely manner to follow calendar.
- Will be responsible for reviewing/submitting all invoices and payments.
- Will be responsible for communicating and relaying all MOQ surcharges/costing issues related to bulk production to Directory of Production for approval when needed.
- Work with your production counterpart to order bulk trim (when necessary) in order to consolidate amongst all factories on either a seasonal or annual basis.
- Work with the SMU team to ensure any approvals or requirements requested in the contract are being executed.
- Monitor compliance per any contractual agreements with Kith partners.
Qualifications
- Four year college degree preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of fabric, trims, testing, logistics, and garment construction
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
