Purpose of the Role
The Client Portfolio management team at Numeric consists of talented, passionate individuals with thorough knowledge of equity and credit markets and Numeric's investment process. The successful applicant is likely to have a passion for markets, quantitative strategies, and desire to communicate effectively. The person in this role will be committed to supporting the Numeric investment group, client service team and Man sales team globally in an effort to educate prospects and maintain a high standard of client communications. We provide training and support to help the Client Portfolio Manager grow and achieve excellence. Specific Responsibilities
The successful Associate CPM will split time on the following activities:
- Provide investment related updates for clients, prospects and internal stakeholders.
- Write regular and ad hoc commentary related to Numeric’s business and investment strategies.
- Respond to client inquiries with detailed, investment related responses.
- Working with internal marketing and client support teams and build a responsive, cohesive environment.
- Consistently strive to gain a solid understanding of Numeric’s broad investment capabilities, philosophy and process
- Longer term expectations may include additional client facing responsibilities including travel.
Key Competencies
- Great communication skills, both orally and in written form
- Past experience in asset management roles preferred
- Highly detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to multitask and deliver a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; CFA or work towards CFA designation preferred
- Successful completion of all qualifications, licenses, tests and other requirements required by any regulatory authorities (Series 7, 3, 63)
Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $125,000-$150,000 + benefits + a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
