The Talent Acquisition Manager job plans, directs, and implements strategic recruitment and employment programs according to organizational development. This job manages a team of experienced professionals that provide talent acquisition expertise and consultation to aligned businesses.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Leads a cross geography team of Talent Acquisition Recruiting Managers and recruiters; provide leadership, regular performance feedback and coaching, identify development opportunities to stretch team members to increase their skills and grow professionally.
- Ensures the Talent Acquisition Team develops proactive sourcing strategies for their organizations, embrace social networking, leverage tools and technology, provide a consultative advisory service for the business and assess candidate competence through deep interviews.
- Partners with HR Business Partners, leaders and partners to proactively manage recruitment challenges and identify strategies to meet needs ahead of time.
- Provides recruitment budget, sourcing forecasting and profit and loss guidance to the organization.
- Ensures the Talent Acquisition strategy is integrated into holistic HR and talent practices and enables alignment and integration wherever possible.
- Keeps a pulse on the market, evolution of trends and best practices.
- Manages performance of direct reports through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of talent acquisition objectives and engagement, motivation and development of the team.
