Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the HVO goals and objectives.
About the Role
Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with HVO’s goals and strategic objectives
Oversee all aspects of end to end HR processes including recruitment, performance management and development, employee relations, leadership development and site based payroll activities.
Lead HR projects with exceptional attention to detail and stakeholder engagement.
Champion employee engagement, culture and wellbeing.
Support organisational effectiveness solutions and initiatives that will contribute to building a high-performance culture.
Provide accurate and timely people management advice to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
Coach and mentor leaders in performance management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance resolution.
Provide leadership and coaching to the HR team.
Roster and Location
Monday to Friday dayshift roster
Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)
About You
Proven experience in a HR Manager role with a comprehensive knowledge of HR related functions including leadership development, culture, performance management and recruitment.
You easily build trust with your team, are adaptable, authentic and operate with integrity in everything you do.
You are passionate about leading teams, holding yourself and others to account and coaching and developing your team.
Working knowledge of state and federal employment legislation.
Ability to thrive in a continuous improvement culture with resilience around change.
A strong commitment to delivering high quality HR outcomes in an accurate and timely manner.
Excellent interpersonal influencing, coaching and communication skills.
You understand working at the right level and can empower and delegate to your team.
Demonstrated experience using Workday/SAP or other HRIS system experience.
Relevant degree/ qualification in HR or other relevant qualification or related experience.
