The Nuclear Projects Supervisor Nuclear Planning and Scheduling is responsible for the oversight of online and outage planning as well as online work control coordination.  This position reports directly to the Sr. Project Director and is a member of the Nuclear Projects leadership team.  The position will have direct oversight of the Nuclear Projects Planning organization.  The position entails the following general responsibilities and duties (note that this is not an all-inclusive list):

  • Providing leadership in developing the detailed implementation planning for Project Execution activities. 
  • Provide oversight and mentoring for planning qualifications.
  • Provide oversight in development of planning metrics and reports.
  • Ensure Nuclear Projects representation at station online and outage meetings
  • Accountable for ensuring safe work practices within the planning team
  • This individual provides direct consult to the Sr Project Director, Project Controls Manager, and Manager of Nuclear Projects for development of project execution work orders, site Work Control and safety-focused schedule integration.  
  • Assist in the development of resource loaded schedules to match cost estimates
  • Additionally, this individual maintains overall accountability for work integration schedule accuracy, scope change verification, leadership for contingent labor, and interfaces with station schedules. 

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum Five (5) Years Related Work Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Extensive experience as a station online planner, outage planner, or projects planner
  • Proficiency with planning tools and templates
  • Track record of delivering results, high standards and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with different levels of employees
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong nuclear plant operations, work control and/or maintenance background
  • Minimum Ten (10) years of nuclear plant experience
  • Previous experience planning projects or working as a Planning Supervisor

Working Conditions

  • General office conditions w/ some field walkdowns
  • ERO responsibilities may be required
  • Occasional shift and weekend work may be required, primarily for refueling outages
