Pay range:

$24.46 - $36.18

This is a Per Diem primarily day shift position (mostly 8 or 12 hour shifts).

Will need to have occasional early morning, evening, and weekend availability.

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is currently seeking a Patient Care Technician/CNA for our Perioperative Care Unit (PCU). This unit is responsible to prepare patients for and discharge patients after surgical procedures. Patient populations may include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery.

Qualifications

  • Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required
  • 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA or PCT required.
  • Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.
  • Health Care Provider CPR Certification prior to start date.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.  
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity required.
  • EPIC experience strongly preferred.
