Position:1st shift Extruder Operator
Pay: $18.26 per hour to start + Shift Differential $1.50 per hour $500 sign-on bonus opportunity + bonuses
Shifts: 1st shift 5am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday with Overtime on some Saturdays – [Full Time Work]
SUMMARY
Processing Operator’s are responsible for properly measuring and mixing approved raw material together to create specific mixture types according to company formulas, standards, and specifications. Processing Operators run equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner. They work on a strict timeline to ensure the freshest product possible while adhering to company recipes, Food Safety guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operating Guillotine equipment.
- Record keeping and monitoring.
- Responsible for correctly measuring and mixing approved ingredients together to create a mixture specific to company standards and specifications.
- Responsible for properly adding ingredients into mixers and following formulas and recipes.
- Inspects materials and products for defects and ensures conformance to specifications.
- Operates all scales, meters, mixers, and related mixing equipment.
- Loads and removes materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices.
- Understands and follows production schedules and work orders.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area by ensuring that floors and food handling equipment are clean and organized appropriately.
- Follows proper documentation steps to fill out batch sheet records.
- Ensure consistent quality of mixes: texture, temperature, and tensile strength must not vary from mix to mix.
- Keep the entire area clean and organized throughout the day.
- Additional daily duties as outlined by the team members direct report.
