We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Observability Team to manage and evolve our telemetry infrastructure. This role is centered on Azure and Kubernetes, with a strategic focus on building out AI Observability frameworks.
You will be responsible for ensuring our high-throughput OTLP pipelines are resilient and capable of providing deep insights into both traditional microservices and emerging AI/ML workloads.
This isn't a standard "maintenance" role. You will be building the foundational visibility layer that allows our AI initiatives to move from "experimental" to "production-grade." By mastering the flow of OTLP data through Azure, you’ll be the person ensuring our systems remain transparent, even as they become more complex.

What You Will Do:
AI Observability & Monitoring: Lead the implementation of monitoring for AI/ML models. This includes tracking model performance, LLM latency (TTFT), token consumption, and integrated "human-in-the-loop" feedback metrics.
Telemetry Pipeline Engineering: Configure and scale Otel Collectors to handle massive ingestion volumes while ensuring data transformation and routing are optimized.
Deep-Dive Analysis: Utilize ClickHouse to build custom datasets that help engineers troubleshoot complex performance regressions and AI model drift.
What You Will Need:
Advanced LGTM & Otel Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience tuning and scaling Grafana Mimir, Loki, and Tempo, alongside complex OpenTelemetry Collector configurations.
Kubernetes Mastery: Extensive experience managing enterprise-scale applications and stateful sets within Kubernetes.
Data Engineering: Hands-on experience managing and querying ClickHouse (or similar OLAP databases) for high-cardinality telemetry analysis.
AI/ML Literacy: A solid understanding of AI infrastructure needs, specifically how to monitor LLMs or machine learning pipelines in production.
System Reliability: Strong background in Linux internals, container networking, and storage orchestration.
Profiling Experience: Familiarity with continuous profiling tools like Pyroscope to identify code-level bottlenecks in a distributed system is beneficial.
Automation: Ability to script or build tools in Go or Python to extend OpenTelemetry components or automate observability workflows would be a plus.
Cloud Agnostic: While we currently use Azure, we prioritize candidates who understand Kubernetes at a level that allows them to remain cloud-agnostic.
