We are seeking a Senior level Engineer to support design, implementation, and sustainment of an IL6 and multi-domain environments for a defense program. This role directly supports Enigma capabilities, including CSfC solutions, cross-domain architectures, secure remote access, and high-side cloud environments. The Cloud Engineer will play a key role in automation initiatives, and cybersecurity compliance within mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate has experience working in Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and enclave-specific ecosystems, understands DoW cybersecurity requirements, and can design and maintain cloud-native and hybrid architectures supporting Enigma workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, architecting, deploying, maintaining, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of cloud environments.
Supports configuration, sustainment, and modernization of CSfC-based solutions, secure remote access capabilities, and multi-domain connectivity.
Handles the installation, configuration, and maintenance of cloud systems under the guidance of the cloud engineering team, while collaborating with engineering, development, and quality assurance teams to establish guidelines for automated monitoring and alerting protocols.
Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves any operational issues in cloud environments, maintaining thorough logs and operational records.
Works with cross-functional infrastructure and engineering teams to identify and apply emerging trends and technologies in cloud solutions.
Prepares and updates documentation to align with organizational standards and procedures related to cloud operations.
Contributes to automation initiatives supporting provisioning, monitoring, patching, and compliance validation across IL6, CSfC, and cross-domain systems.
Provides technical expertise and consultative guidance for cloud strategies and solutions, ensuring effective implementation and support of enterprise cloud environments.
Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves operational issues within Enigma cloud environments, maintaining logs, records, and system baselines.
Assists in engineering and maintaining bi-directional data flows, ensuring compliance with all security, auditing, and operational controls.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in cloud operations (IL5/IL6 environments preferred)
Clearance: Secret with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Location: Miami, FL or Colorado Springs, CO

The likely salary range for this position is $112,840 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
