Cloud Data Engineer (Coalesce and Snowflake Experience)

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite- 5 Days a week)

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented Cloud Data Engineer with Coalesce & Snowflake experience for an onsite role in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience in SQL/Snowflake and 1–2 years in Coalesce, with strong skills in SQL development, data warehousing concepts, workload management, and Git-based collaboration. Experience with Snowflake advanced features, cloud ecosystems, and streaming/CDC tools is a plus. The candidate should possess strong communication, problem-solving, automation, and collaboration skills, with a proven focus on delivering high-quality, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake and Coalesce
  • Write efficient and high-quality SQL for data processing and reporting
  • Apply data warehousing concepts and workload management best practices
  • Use Git for version control and team-based development
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
  • Focus on automation to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
  • Deliver reliable solutions with strong attention to quality and production stability

Required skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Coalesce
  • Strong experience in SQL development
  • Experience building transformations in Coalesce
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and workload management
  • Strong skills in advanced SQL, including joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing mindset
  • Focus on delivering accurate, high-quality, and production-ready solutions

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Snowflake features such as Streams/TasksDynamic TablesSnowpipeExternal Tables, and Zero-Copy Cloning
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Exposure to event streaming tools such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Event Hubs
  • Knowledge of CDC tools

The base salary range for this position is $ 92,250 to $111.500 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
