The Global Pursuit Enablement Team is a dynamic and innovative team committed to delivering high-quality solutions for Pursuit in HP Commercial Organization. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Software Development Technical Lead to join our team to help us drive the conceptualization, implementation and evolution of strategic cloud-based applications (OMS / CDE).

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to drive the inception, development and evolution of strategic internal cloud-based applications supporting Managed Services deal workflows across global sales stages: the Opportunity Management System (OMS) and/or Contractual Deal Engine (CDE).

The Technical Lead will oversee architecture, development, and integration efforts, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals. As part of the role, the selected candidate will focus on technology selection, architecture definition, solution development consistency, technical guidance of team members and alignment with business stakeholders, technical leads in the team, and development groups across hp IT ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Lead the design and implementation of OMS/CDE modules using .NET, SQL Server, and React-based front-end frameworks.
  • Define and maintain software architecture standards, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and performance.
  • Guide the team in adopting best practices for cloud-native development and DevOps.

  Project & Sprint Management

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to define sprint goals and prioritize user stories.
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily scrums to ensure timely delivery of features and fixes.

  Integration & API Strategy

  • Oversee integration of OMS/CDE with other hp platforms such as CPQ, HP Dynamics, DART, LTO Hub, and Federated Data Lake (FDL).
  • Ensure robust API design and data synchronization strategies for reporting and automation.

  Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Support QA Leads in the definition of lean QA processes, including SDET automation.
  • Ensure secure deployment pipelines and compliance with internal governance standards including SOX (Sorbannes-Oaxley Act) and RFC (Request for Change) controls

  Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and pursuit teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical advisor in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions with partners developing adjacent hp systems like CPQ, HP Dynamics, DART, LTO Hub, Federated Data Lake (FDL), etc. Define interfaces, API strategies and communication protocols to ensure seamless and robust data flows with adjacent systems to OMS/CDE.

 Mentorship & Team Development

  • Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative, agile development culture.
  • Promote continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  • Advocate and promote Agile methodologies for lean and efficient development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in Software development, with at least 3 years in a Technical Leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET (C#), SQL Server, Entity Framework, React, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, enterprise software lifecycle, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English.
