ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Cloud Analyst, you'll design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on identity management, networking, security, monitoring, backup, and automation. Working with both onshore and offshore teams, you'll ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

We work with the main providers – Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI – in a multicloud team model.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

Creation, management and support (troubleshooting) of Cloud components:

  • Such as Computing components (VMs / IaaS), Containers, Serverless, Storage (Object / Block), PaaS Databases (SQL / NoSQL), Load Balancing, Cost Management, CDN, API Management.
  • Differentiator skills: cloud knowledge about AI/ML Services, Analytics & Big Data, IoT, Edge Computing, VMWare on Cloud, Hybrid Cloud.

Implement / integrate monitoring and diagnostics with native tools and supporting integration with external tools.

Automation and DevOps practices:

  • Leverage infrastructure as code (IaC) with native tools and Terraform.
  • Take advantage of serverless automation and orchestrate workflows.
  • Improve efficiency of team activities and environment with automation.

Configuration and Identity:

  • Knowledge of Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Azure Identity and Access, governance, Azure architecture, and Azure administration.
  • Deploy solutions according to best practices and business requirements.
  • Manage identity services using native IAM and SSO, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and implement role-based access controls (RBAC).

Network:

  • Knowledge of Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls, etc.
  • Configure VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network ACLs.
  • Manage VPNs, Gateways, direct communication between CSPs and on-prem, and VPC communication/peering to ensure secure connectivity.
  • Leverage services such as native firewall solutions and Load Balancers for advanced network security and traffic management.

Security and compliance:

  • Deploy security solutions as native to providers for continuous compliance monitoring.
  • Manage keys and secrets using Key Management Service (KMS) services and apply security policies and control policies.

Backup and disaster recovery:

  • Knowledge about Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), including replication strategies for various services such as IaaS and Azure PaaS, and development of DRP event documentation.
  • Administer Backup and design disaster recovery strategies using integrated multi-region architectures.

Additional Abilities:

  • Process and activity automation using PowerShell and Terraform in Azure (script development).
  • Azure integrations with Power BI.
  • Understand strategies for cost optimization, high availability, scalability, and effective troubleshooting in complex environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve cloud operations and address complex cloud challenges.
  • Good relationship skills to interface with customer technical counterparts.
