CLO & Private Credit Portfolio Management, Vice President

Who we are looking for

The Vice President will provide Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) & Private Credit portfolio management, lending, and credit analysis activities across portfolios within Global Credit Finance, including the credit analysis for a variety of transactions, partnering closely with the Bank’s strategic Private Markets clients. As portfolio manager, this role has responsibility for leading a team of credit analysts for both underwriting and surveillance processes. The role operates partners closely with Treasury, Risk Management and Investor Relations.

What you will be responsible for

Portfolio Management & Trading

  • Global portfolio management execution for the portfolio, including monthly performance analysis, monitoring, and reporting
  • Monitor portfolio exposures, market conditions and liquidity, and provide recommendations to support portfolio positioning and risk management
  • Build strategic relationships across the firm in order to support institutional growth on the servicing and lending portfolios
  • Execution of fundamental credit analysis across both private credit and BSL funds including financial statement review, cash flow analysis, and capital structure assessment
  • Management and training of staff in order to support underwriting activities for new transactions, amendments, and refinancings
  • Present to Credit Committee as warranted for credit surveillance watchlist, exceptions to guidelines
  • Conduct ongoing credit surveillance, including monitoring of covenant compliance, ratings actions, and emerging credit risks.

Risk Management & Governance

  • Support adherence to internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations to support effective risk oversight.
  • Preparation and Presentation of materials for senior risk committees and governance forums
  • Escalate identified risks or issues and solutions in order to mitigate risk

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across lending, structuring, treasury, operations, and risk functions.
  • Engage with external counterparties, including banks and asset managers, to support transaction execution and market awareness.
  • Contribute to internal portfolio and market updates for management review.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in leveraged loans, private credit, structured credit, or related credit markets.
  • Experience supporting portfolio management and/or lending activities within a regulated financial institution.
  • Demonstrated credit analysis and underwriting experience.
  • Working knowledge of loan documentation, covenants, and loan market conventions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CFA® designation or progress toward completion.
  • Experience supporting private credit or alternative lending strategies.
  • Familiarity with bank regulatory, risk management, and governance frameworks.
  • Exposure to CLOs, private credit, investment adviser lending, or structured credit products.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $217,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
