Job Description

CLO Middle Office Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of corporate trust services in the world. Our clients look to us for trustee, agency, escrow, document custody and money market issuing services via our 48 domestic offices and three international offices.

We have an exciting proposition for someone to join our dynamic and growing CLO Middle Office team, within our European Corporate Trust business in Dublin, supporting key clients and their CLO funds. The team are aligned to our Cherrywood Office ( Cherrywood Business Park, Dublin 18).

The role will have a dual focus - 50% of the time will be spent on Loan closing activities with the remainder of the time focussed on daily deal reconciliations for US clients.

  • Coordination with counterparties and agents to come up with a mutually acceptable settlement date also requiring knowledge of transfer documentation including funding memos, netting letters, participation agreements, transfer certificates and trade fee calculations.

  • Research trade breaks between the trade platform and the trade tickets provided by Collateral Managers.

  • Interpret Credit Agreements when reviewing trade docs.

  • Coordinate closing of syndicated and privately negotiated loans.

  • Daily deal reconciliation and creation of daily client deliverables by US Opening Hours.

  • Ensuring breaks are investigated and updated.

We are either looking to hire someone with some direct Loan Closing experience or someone with CLO transaction and reporting knowledge or alternatively someone with a banking operations background with relatable skills and knowledge of other financial products, who we can develop in the role.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Any knowledge of Loan Closing or CLO Middle Office and reporting experience / or relatable skills and banking ops experience.

  • Some Knowledge of ClearPar and LMA /LSTA documentation could be beneficial.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

  • Strong customer relation skills, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in dealing with clients or attending client calls would be helpful.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Office location - Cherrywood (3 days a week in the office expectation)
