CLM Solution Architect

We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Legal Operations practice and play a key role in delivering world-class Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions across leading platforms, including Agiloft, DocuSign CLM, and Ironclad.

 
Responsibilities
  • Serve as technical lead for CLM projects (Agiloft, DocuSign CLM, Ironclad), providing architectural oversight, design reviews, and optimization strategies.
  • Establish, lead, and manage the technical enablement and knowledge development of the Legal Operations team, staying current with evolving capabilities across all supported CLM platforms and coordinating training initiatives.
  • Define and communicate technical principles, designs, and architectural standards to ensure scalable, high-quality solution delivery across multiple CLM ecosystems.
  • Support client demos, proof-of-concept projects, and platform evaluations, advising on best-fit solutions for standalone CLM or integrated lead-to-cash transformations.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional project teams, including client stakeholders and Spaulding Ridge consultants, ensuring alignment and successful delivery.
  • Adhere to Spaulding Ridge delivery methodology and project standards, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and consistent quality across engagements.
  • Provide integration expertise for connecting CLM platforms with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems, leveraging APIs, middleware, and automation tools.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients on CLM strategy, governance, and optimization opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and leading CLM applications, with hands-on expertise in Agiloft, DocuSign CLM, and Ironclad.
  • Certifications in one or more platforms (e.g., Agiloft Certified Implementer, DocuSign CLM Specialist, Ironclad Admin) are highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of workflow automation, business rules, custom calculations, and data integration across multiple CLM tools.
  • Strong experience in architecting scalable CLM solutions, including configuration, security models, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting, Law, Business Management, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with contracting processes, legal operations best practices, and integration with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior consultants.
