As a Clinician Selling Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our innovative biomarkers and solutions within the clinical communities. You will build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), researchers, and healthcare providers to advance our mission of improving patient outcomes through personalized medicine and better chronic disease management.
In this role, you will be the reference person for clinical and technical aspects in the Barcelona and Tarragona area. You will be responsible for promoting our solutions with a technical-scientific approach, adapting global strategies to the local reality of Primary Care and specialized centers, ensuring our innovations reach the right patients at the right time.
Strategic Sales & Technical Promotion: Promote products and services with differentiating scientific messages. You will negotiate with health centers and hospitals, providing high-level technical explanations focused on treatment and patient management.
Primary Care & Diabetes Focus: You will be a key partner for Primary Care providers, especially in the context of Diabetes, promoting sales with a treatment-oriented approach and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and cultivate a network of advocates (KOLs, Clinical Leaders, Medical Directors). You’ll adapt sales plans to satisfy their needs and communicate public tender implications to the Zone Manager.
Clinical Training: Educate nursing staff and healthcare professionals in both hospitals and Primary Care centers on product use, coordinating the involvement of nurses in patient care protocols.
Scientific Expertise: Act as the local expert, presenting Roche solutions at regional forums and symposia. You’ll stay updated on IVDR regulations and patient management algorithms.
Market Intelligence: Gather and share insights on market trends and competition. You will implement marketing campaigns and collaborate with Product Managers on local promotional activities (congresses, workshops, etc.).
Investment & ROI: Propose and implement investments in your territory based on a defined return (ROI) and ensure all customer commitments are met.
Mobility: This role requires high field presence, with expected travel within the designated area (Barcelona/Tarragona) 70+% of the time.
We are looking for a scientific profile with a strong commercial spark and experience in the local healthcare ecosystem.
Education: Bachelor's Degree is needed. Bachelor's in Science with be higly valued.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Proven experience in Primary Care is essential.
Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge or experience in Diabetes is highly valued.
Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals at all levels.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish and Catalan is highly valued; strong proficiency in English is mandatory for global collaboration.
Location: You must be based in the working area Barcelona.
