Clinical Technical and Sales Specialist – Cochlear Implants & Acoustics

We are looking for a Clinical Technical and Sales Specialist – Cochlear Implants & Acoustics to support implanting clinics, rehabilitation centers, and service partners across Northwest Italy.
As a Clinical Technical and Sales Specialist, you will be the key point of contact for hospitals, clinics, and professionals, ensuring optimal use of Cochlear products while driving business growth.
• Grow the Cochlear Implants and Bone Conduction business in the region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with ENT surgeons, audiologists, and hospital decision-makers.
• Identify new opportunities while strengthening ties with existing customers.
• Support marketing initiatives, congresses, and local awareness events.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
• Participate in national and international events to promote Cochlear solutions.
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-surgical technical support in hospitals and clinics.
• Train healthcare professionals on Cochlear implants and acoustics technology.
• Assist with complex case mappings, integrity tests, and troubleshooting.
• Advise clinics on documentation, best practices, and clinical studies.
• Support customers in organizing local workshops and training sessions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors, ENT Surgeons, Audiologists, Engineers, and Speech Therapists.
• Support clinics in tendering processes and procurement negotiations.
• Promote after-sales products and services, identifying growth opportunities.
• Manage activities and insights through Salesforce Health Cloud CRM.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
• Increase awareness of Cochlear implant technology within the medical community.
• Share scientific research, clinical guidelines, and best practices with stakeholders.
• Support the development of clinical studies, scientific publications, and conference presentations.
• Report competitor activities and propose strategic initiatives.
✔️ Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Audiology, or a related field
✔️ 2+ years of experience in the medical device or hearing aid industry
✔️ Experience in tenders and healthcare procurement processes
✔️ Fluency in English (applications and CVs must be in English)
✔️ Excellent presentation and communication skills
✔️ Tech‑savvy – Salesforce Health Cloud CRM & Microsoft Office proficiency
✔️ Self‑motivated, proactive, and a strong team player
✔️ Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%)
✔️ Based in Lombardia, Piemonte, Valle d’Aosta, Liguria, or Toscana
