Pay Range
$20.40 - $30.60EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent with three years of office or clerical experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the department to be served preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversees the general clinical operations including record keeping and filing, ordering and purchasing of general medical/surgical supplies and office supplies and equipment.
2. Develops work schedules and assignments for professional and ancillary staff with attention to equitable distribution and adequacy of coverage.
3. Assists with assessing department fiscal requirements, prepare budgetary recommendations, and monitor and reconcile expenditures.
4. Assists with various personnel functions including hiring, scheduling, and performance planning.
5. Prepares management reports (technical, operational, fiscal) which detail patient or procedure volumes, resource utilization, trends, revenues, expenditures, etc.
6. Cross-trains staff. Oversees staff development in areas of computer access, and lab and diagnostic testing requisitions.
7. Oversees maintenance of office space, equipment, and facilities.
8. Maintains inventory of supplies, meets with sales personnel, evaluates purchase orders, and makes decisions regarding purchases for the clinic.
9. Acts as a liaison between physicians and nursing staff to facilitate the care of the patients and clinical flow.
10. Answers by phone and in person inquiries concerning clinic policies and procedures.
11. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
