POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is a sales level position with responsibilities focused on the specialty of Psychiatry. The CS – Psychiatry position will promote Indivior’s Opioid Addiction products with this audience with a 70/30 split, Sublocade™/Suboxone™ Film.

The CS-Psychiatry position will deliver the commercial and qualitative objectives for Indivior business in the assigned geography centred in the greater Toronto area and spanning from London to Ottawa, focused on institutional and key community-based Psychiatrist.

The role requires strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, and a team player approach.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Sales focused position responsible for the delivery of specific sales objectives, assigned per cycle (4 months)
  • Focused on Psychiatry based customers the CS – Psychiatry will be expected to build sustained value-based relationships amongst key stakeholders supporting the expanded role of opioid dependence treatment and the appropriate utilization of Indivior products in the field of Psychiatry.
  • This role covers a large geography that will require approximately 50% travel. The majority of territory travel will be via car and Ottawa covered with the option of air.
  • The role encompasses the building of awareness, and engagement in the treatment of opioid dependency, clinical product presentations in one on one and group settings, driving appropriate utilization of Indivior Products with Psychiatrists.
  • The role requires effective customer segmentation, targeting and prioritization combined with effective time management.
  • Actively contribute to the company’s strategic business planning process by providing field insights and innovative thinking towards the achievement of Indivior Canada sales goals.
  • Develop and execute territory specific initiatives that delivers value to the customer while achieving Indivior business goals.
  • Ensure all activities are made in strict respect of local rules and Indivior’s strict code of conduct and compliance SOPs
  • Actively collaborate and work as a Team Player within the greater Indivior CanadaTeam

KEY CHALLENGES:

  • Achieving the business and scientific knowledge base to competently present to all key customers within this field and be seen as a partner in the patient management process as well as the business of providing addiction services.
  • Mastering skills of influencing, negotiating and teamwork in a framework of empathy and understanding in addition to traditional selling skills. This treatment area is sensitive and complex.
  • Managing activities in a broad geographical area with diverse account types.
  • Excelling as a highly organized self-starter capable of working autonomously.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or health-related subject.
  • Track record of outstanding sales performance and business acumen is a must. Experience in the field of addiction and/or psychiatry is an added asset.
  • Capacity to organize and facilitate small and large meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills, with a track record of building long standing influential customer relationships.
  • Proven ability to understand and operate in a scientific, technically complex therapeutic area.
