What Will You Do?
As a Clinical Service Manager of Case Management at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion.  Responsible to uphold the healing ministry of Christ through relationships that honor integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity and professional excellence. Provides management of and clinical supervision to members of the Case Management team within Hospital Based Services. Within the framework of the organizational management philosophy, is responsible for the administration, coordination, and direction of staff activities related to assigned department. Provides advice and counsel to staff regarding their area of expertise. Represents organization to organizational constituencies, health care institutions, governmental agencies, regulatory agencies, the West Michigan community and other external publics on a limited basis. Clinical Services Manager for Case Management is dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall management of the department’s daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Practices stewardship when developing and adhering to departmental budgets.

  • Develops and monitors budgets for the Case Management Department.

  • Monitors staffing for the Case Management Department and ensures coverage as planned.

  • Serves as a member of various committees to participate in organization-wide discussions. Participates in committees assigned by Director, developing, implementing and monitoring new initiatives or processes.

  • Clearly communicates expectations, requirements, results and issues to staff and provides clarification of key policies.

  • Leads initiatives to improve outcomes, maintains understanding of outcome tools and measurements and participates in research studies as applicable.


What Does This Role Require?

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in the field of Social Work or Psychology with current MI licensure.

  • Approximately five years of progressively more responsible related work experience in the area assigned in order to gain full knowledge of related systems and management programs.
