The Elekta Clinical Research Fellowship is a one-year immersive program designed to cultivate expertise in modern radiotherapy clinical research. Fellows will be embedded within Elekta’s Medical Affairs and Clinical Research Team and gain hands-on experience in the design, execution, and analysis of clinical trials, with a particular emphasis on:
Registry-based hypothesis testing
Federated multi-sponsor, multi-institutional clinical trials
This program aims to foster the next generation of clinical researchers by integrating academic rigor with industrial innovation. The focus of research for 2026-2027 Fellows will be novel CT-guided or MR-guided adaptive therapy paradigms using linear accelerators.
Responsibilities -
Manage one or more prospective clinical research projects.
Contribute to publications and presentations at major conferences (e.g., ASTRO, ESTRO).
Optionally mine existing datasets for exploratory analyses of adaptive therapy.
Qualifications -
MD (or equivalent), who is currently in or within one year of completing a radiation oncology training program.
Demonstrated interest in clinical research and adaptive radiotherapy
Strong analytical and communication skills
