Department and location: The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst

Salary: $84,436.00 - $112,331.00 base per annum + super

About the role

  • An amazing opportunity to work in a world class Research Centre, delivering high quality patient care in advanced oncology clinical trials.

  • Case manage patients with advanced cancers and coordinate patient study visits following the trial protocol and ensuring patient centred care.

  • Coordinating monitoring visits with external pharmaceutical companies, research organisations and other clinical trial stakeholders.

  • Coordination of the collection of biological samples, processing and shipping as required (after appropriate training and assessment).

  • Accurately collect, document and report clinical trial data within specific timeline and in accordance with ICH-GCP best clinical practice standards.

About you

  • We are looking for highly motivated candidates with interests in both clinical management of advanced cancer patients and research/clinical trials practice.

  • Background in clinical trials research, ICU, ED or Acute Care nursing is an advantage. Strong candidates with pharmacy, medical science and other backgrounds will also be considered.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or previous administration experience in a hospital/healthcare environment and/or experience in clinical research/trials administration.

  • Demonstrated adherence to documented policies and procedures and familiarity with ICH-GCP.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and organisational skills whilst managing sensitive clinical data and protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in challenging clinical environments.
