Position Summary:

The Clinical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and recruiting qualified clinical professionals to support Equum Medical’s telehealth programs. This role partners closely with clinical leadership, operations, and HR to ensure timely hiring of highly qualified physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff who support remote acute care services across partner healthcare facilities. The Clinical Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with Equum’s mission, values, and quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for clinical roles including physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing and clinical support staff as assigned. 
  • Partner with clinical leadership and operations to identify hiring needs, develop job postings, and define candidate profiles. 
  • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and industry associations. 
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with Equum’s culture and values. 
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 
  • Support the offer process, including offer preparation, candidate communication, and pre-employment requirements. 
  • Partner with Licensing & Credentialing and HR teams to facilitate onboarding and ensure compliance requirements are met. 
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline health, and hiring trends. 
  • Represent Equum Medical professionally when interacting with candidates and external partners. 
  • Assist with developing strategies to attract top clinical talent in competitive healthcare markets. 

Requirements:

  • Experience recruiting for healthcare or clinical roles required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. 
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and standard recruiting tools. 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of healthcare recruiting practices and clinical staffing needs. 
  • Strong candidate sourcing techniques and pipeline development. 
  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit. 
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. 
  • Equivalent work experience in healthcare recruiting may be considered in lieu of formal education. 

 

In addition to a base pay, this position is eligible for a performance bonus, 401k, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors, including type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
