ROLE SUMMARY:
As a key member of the Optimization Analytics Ecosystem (OAE) Leadership Team, you will lead a team of performance analysts and data scientists dedicated to delivering high‑impact, data‑driven insights. You will strengthen OAE’s analytics ecosystem through advanced analytical methods, predictive modeling, and rigorous data governance—ultimately enhancing how we measure, benchmark, and optimize operational delivery and quality across the clinical portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop a high‑performing analytics team, building tools, processes, and solutions that improve data consistency, connectivity, and reliability across OAE.
Ensure timely access to intelligence by overseeing solutions that deliver up‑to‑date trial performance data, quality metrics, competitive benchmarks, and predictive indicators essential for operational decision‑making.
Partner with CD&O stakeholders to deliver repeatable, insight‑driven solutions across ad hoc analytics, operational performance reporting, benchmarking, and executive‑level summaries.
Advance OAE’s analytic capabilities through the design and deployment of robust reporting frameworks, dashboards, automation tools, and predictive models that enable faster, more informed decisions.

Shape and execute strategic analytics roadmaps that accelerate the evolution of the analytics ecosystem.
Deliver end‑to‑end performance insights spanning clinical trial planning, execution, and quality monitoring.
Build and enhance analytics tools, dashboards, and metrics that demonstrate measurable impact on operational efficiency and quality outcomes.
Oversee core processes and resource coordination to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery across the team’s diverse portfolio.
Identify and integrate emerging analytical and predictive capabilities that strengthen decision‑making and accelerate continuous improvement.
As a People Manager, You Will Elevate the Organization by:
Training, coaching, and mentoring analysts and data scientists to deepen technical expertise and business acumen.
Allocating and balancing resources across projects based on strategic priorities and portfolio needs.
Managing demand and prioritization, ensuring analytical activities are aligned with organizational capacity and operational urgency.
Leading enterprise‑level analytics initiatives that enhance transparency, reporting, and decision‑support across OAE, Quality, and CD&O.
Cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, streamlining processes and boosting productivity.
Fostering a collaborative, customer‑focused environment that builds strong partnerships with Quality, CD&O, and other key analytics stakeholders.
Partnering with the OAE Leadership Team to align staffing strategies, optimize resource deployment, and support evolving portfolio needs.
Ensuring consistent prioritization of data and analytics requests, enabling clarity, predictability, and reliable delivery.
Coordinating development of analytics products so that outputs are accurate, consistent, and intuitive for end users.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 8+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in a Clinical Trials environment, including expertise in clinical trial operations and management.
Experience training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
Experience addressing short- and long-term resourcing needs.
Experience solving problems and achieving objectives by leveraging strong consulting skills, including influence, negotiation, and conflict management.
Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality work.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience synthesizing key messages from multiple data sets.
Experience making complex decisions independently, assessing and choosing among multiple options among competing priorities and ambiguous situations.
Conversant with the long-term strategy of the business and able to leverage it to prioritize activities and answer key business questions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA/MS and 7+ years of experience with at least 4+ years in a Clinical Trials environment, including expertise in clinical trial operations and management.
People management experience, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
Experience managing and guiding direct reports effectively in a virtual setting and within a matrix and multicultural organization.
Expert knowledge of OARS tools and processes: Including but not limited to Feasibility Solutions (Centaur), Control Towers, Enrollment Modeling, Quality Analytics, Operational Performance Metrics and External Benchmarking.
In-depth knowledge of clinical research and development, including comprehensive understanding of key operational elements and processes in clinical research and development.
Strong knowledge of process details such as Study Management, study start-up, conduct, close-out activities, and reporting.
High proficiency in data wrangling and visualization tools and experience using tools such as Alteryx and Spotfire for data manipulation and visualization.
Strong Familiarity with the GPD insights platform and its applications
