As Head of Clinical Communications, you will shape Elekta’s global clinical voice — defining how we communicate our medical value, amplifying our scientific leadership, and ensuring that our clinical narrative is consistent, evidence‑based, and impactful across all audiences.
What you’ll do
Lead Elekta’s Corporate Clinical Narrative
- Develop and maintain a compelling, clinically rigorous narrative that articulates the unique benefits our portfolio delivers to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure consistent messaging across channels including social media, press releases, executive communications, and Investor Relations.
- Act as the clinical communications expert to Medical Affairs, Investor Relations, Public Affairs, and executive leadership, providing timely proof points backed by medical integrity.
Own Clinical Content Across Internal & External Channels
- Drive clinically focused content that boosts engagement across global audiences.
- Lead patient‑centered content for Elekta.com and develop compliant educational materials for the radiation therapy community.
Build Platforms for Clinical Thought Leadership
- Launch and direct Elekta’s clinical podcast as a cornerstone globalKOL initiative.
- Elevate FOCUS, Elekta’s customer magazine, by leading a clinical‑trend‑driven content strategy.
Lead Clinical Communications for Global Congresses
- Oversee clinical communication strategies for ASTRO, ESTRO, and other major global congresses.
- Produce high‑impact pre‑ and post‑congress materials including trends, sessions, insights, and content across video, interviews, and interactive formats.
Support Internal Clinical Education
- Drive oncology‑related internal communication and support employee learning through the “Clinical Insights” community.
Partner with Investor Relations & Media
- Provide IR with clinical context, references, and scientific resources.
- Provide media with accessible, accurate clinical explanations of radiotherapy’s importance — and Elekta’s impact.
Your Expertise
- 5–7+ years of clinical marketing or clinical communications experience
(healthcare/med‑tech required; radiotherapy preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience influencing cross‑functional, international teams within matrix organisations.
- Strong communication skills — written, verbal, on‑camera, and in public forums.
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% globally.
