About the Role
The St Vincent’s Hospital Medical Imaging Department is seeking to employ a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Infomatics Specialist.
Reporting to the Medical Imaging Clinical Infomatics Manager, the Clinical Infomatics Specialist will support the effective management of SVHM’s PACS, RIS and IT operations across both public and private services, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery to its departments and the broader hospital community.
As part of a small but effective team, the Clinical Specialist will contribute to strategies that integrate clinical informatics into operational services, develop datasets that encourage collaboration with key stakeholders and provide on the ground support to clinical staff.
Classifications for this position will range from AT6 - AT9 or equivalent).

About (Medical Imaging)
St. Vincent’s Medical Imaging Department (MID) is a busy imaging department providing a wide range of diagnostic and procedural imaging services to inpatients and outpatients of SVHM. The department operates across several locations within the Fitzroy campus, with the main area on the ground floor of the Inpatient Services Building.
St. Vincent’s Private Radiology (SVPR) is a private radiology service, providing imaging to inpatients of St Vincent’s Private Hospital, private outpatients and patients from the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. The full suite of imaging modalities are offered across the locations, including MRI, PET, nuclear medicine, CT, mammography and interventional angiography.
