What you’ll achieve

As a Clinical Functional Consultant (amPHI) you will be part of our highly successful Professional Services team working closely with Solution Specialists, Project and Product Managers, Support and Development teams, playing a key role in documenting and delivering project requirements.

Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Paramedic with a strong background in pre-hospital/ambulatory information systems. This role will focus on the successful implementation of the Dedalus amPHI product in the ANZ region, as well as post go-live support and customer consultation.

The role includes interaction with resources from across the globe to achieve desired outcomes.

You will

  • Take a lead role in the implementation of the amPHI solution and other Dedalus applications
  • Provide support for Dedalus clients under the direction of the PS Clinical Solutions Manager
  • Assist Project Manager/s in the execution of project activities
  • Perform Functional, Performance and Integration User Acceptance Testing
  • Provide System configuration during an installation as indicated in the contract
  • Perform Software issue reporting, investigation, resolution and documentation
  • Provide client training/consultations for the amPHI product suite
  • Liaison with clients re: functional queries/possible change requests
  • Support establishment of new site databases (with localised configuration and other aspects)
  • Identify issues/enhancements during implementation phase and reporting these to relevant Project Managers and Development heads.
  • Participate in tender responses for completion of functional responses
  • Conduct solution/application demonstrations
  • Assist in Implementation Planning Studies prior to implementation of Dedalus product or solutions and assist sales with Product queries
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving trends and standards in health informatics in relation to healthcare opportunities and ensure timely communication of potential impacts or improvements to our healthcare product offerings
  • Contribute to our aspirations as a thought leader and innovator regarding improving healthcare outcomes
  • Assist in the education and mentoring of other staff to provide greater levels of customer engagement and improve the quality of service and software delivery
  • Participate in issue identification and rectification as required with support and product management teams

Essential Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Paramedic science.
  • Minimum 5 years functional experience in the healthcare setting.
  • Experience with pre-hospital information management systems Clinical Information management systems, electronic Medication Management (eMM), or similar products
  • Highly developed experience and skills in presentation delivery and public communication
  • High-level of knowledge with Health Industry Skills in business analysis, and requirement definition

Desirable Requirements

  • SQL basics for database interrogation is desirable
  • Has a strong proficiency with Clinical Information Management products and understanding of requirements around integration of third-party systems. This includes supporting, troubleshooting, and configuring clinical systems.
  • Required to work in a combination of office environment, customer location or remote.
  • Travel for customer meetings or project "go lives" domestic and or international on need basis
  • Some flexibility with working hours as required to work with Dedalus teams in different time zones.
