What You’ll Do
Support the clinical development of imaging products, diagnostics, and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) by contributing to the evaluation of safety, effectiveness, and clinical utility.
Work collaboratively with internal teams (engineering, regulatory, quality, marketing) to design solutions to complex clinical problems under guidance from senior team members.
Contribute across a product’s lifecycle to ensure products are:
Designed to meet clinical needs
Validated appropriately
Effectively utilized by end users
Help translate clinical needs into functional requirements, and assist with:
Software prototyping activities
Verification and validation (V&V) testing
Post-market product improvements
Investigate clinical needs and workflows, summarize findings, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams.
Validate software features and workflows to support regulatory compliance.
Assist with the preparation of:
Research publications
Abstracts or presentations demonstrating the clinical capabilities of software tools
Support internal and external training efforts related to new software features.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of user-facing and internal technical documentation.
Build and maintain relationships with physicians, physicists, technologists, and other medical professionals to gather feedback and validate solutions.
Develop foundational clinical, anatomical, and technical knowledge through training, mentorship, scientific reading, conference attendance, and site visits.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited 4-year university
(Engineering, science, medical physics, imaging sciences, or healthcare-related fields preferred)
2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a clinical, imaging, or medical physics background
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with:
Clinical professionals
Internal multidisciplinary teams
Aptitude and motivation to build clinical and anatomical domain knowledge
Willingness to travel periodically to attend medical conferences, customer meetings, and site visits
Software or medical device industry experience is preferred but not required
Prior programming experience is a plus, but not required
