Clinical Educator Diagnostic ImagingJob Description
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational initiatives for imaging personnel and students throughout the organization. The educator will work collaboratively with the imaging managers and modality technical specialists, radiologists, and academic partners to support professional development, enhance clinical competency, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize imaging protocols in alignment with best practices and organizational goals.

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week required
Education: Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences, medical Imaging or related field.
Required Licensure: IEMA, ARRT(R), BLS within 90 days of hire
Required Experience: 3 years of Clinical Experience in a hospital based Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Preferred Experience: Additional modality certifications preferred
Pay is based on experience, starting $26.35/hour.
**Pay range may vary based on registration in other modalities.
Responsibilities
Accredit learning programs for continuing education., Act as a resource and liaison between the Diagnostic Imaging department and other hospital departments to support cross functional training and communication., Assist managers with supporting preparations for internal audits, regulatory inspections, and accreditation surveys., Contribute to the development and evaluation of preceptorship for staff involved in student supervision., Coordinate clinical placements for students from partner academic institutions, Coordinate student orientation, mentorship, and ongoing support through their clinical rotations., Coordinate training for new equipment., Ensure all educational activities align with hospital policies, regulations and standards of accrediting bodies (ACR, ARDMS, and Joint Commission)., Lead the orientation and onboarding of new imaging technologists and support staff, including training on hospital policies, departmental workflows, and patient safety protocols., Monitor and document staff compliance with mandatory training and education., Organize and coordinate 90 - day and annual competency training in collaboration with the imaging management team and technical specialists across all modalities., Organize and facilitate educational in-services., Other duties as assigned., Participate in department quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives., Participate in hospital committees related to education, quality and safety., Provide leadership and guidance in situations involving staff retraining, new technology adoption or clinical incidents requiring educational intervention., Provide outreach communication with people interested in Radiology programs., Support technologists in achieving and maintaining professional certifications., Track staff education requirements and training for new equipment.Requirements
