Position: Clinical Development Specialist - EP (Southern Spain & Canary Island 85% - Across Spain 15%)
Required: Must be based in one of the following cities: Sevilla, Granada, Málaga.
RPOSE OF THE JOB
Strategic role to accelerate increase in market share in strategic accounts.
Gain market share within detractor accounts and with detractor physicians
Back up core team of FTE’s where necessary, secondary to core role
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Define strategic direction by strategic account with sales management & support sales team in engaging agreement for trial/use of key Abbott EP technologies, install responsibility and immersion of FTE in account for the future maintenance.
Training and handover to local FTE in post trial phase. Back up where required.
Roll out of LMR and clinical projects
Reports to RSM EP
Tight communication across peer group of RSM, marketing, Education and Capital Sales.
Feedback to DM/RSM/Marketing essential
Support EP strategy and its execution, by supporting all activities related to the promotion of EP products, including internal and external educational programs, customer clinical training and other Abbott events
Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new Abbott products, therapies and technologies as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market
EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES
+5 years EP 3DM experience (Navigator)
Must pass and be proficient in all ABBOTT EP systems, technical training and LMS
Good computer utilization and presentation skills to include: MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point) and Email
Fluent in English on top of mother tongue (when not English)
Specific knowledge that would constitute a plus for the role (not mandatory):
Knowledge of the local healthcare market
In-depth experience in a EP technical role, ideally 3 years
Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge
