Job Description
The Clinical Contracting Specialist is responsible for the creation of clinical contracts for USACS. This position will create all clinical contracts, compensation acknowledgments and amendments in accordance with the established format and compensation approved for each clinician type and clinical site. Serves as a liaison with recruiting and legal and coordinates maintenance of the agreements within Human Resources.
This is a remote role, Monday through Friday, with a rate of $24-$25/hour. It’s a temporary 6-month assignment and does not include benefits.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establishes and administers contractual agreements upon the request of clinical recruiting and clinical leadership for all clinical providers.
- Monitors and determine necessity for amendments of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Analyzes contract requests for deviations from contract specifications and clinical compensation.
- Serves as a primary liaison with clinical recruiting and legal to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of problems and issues as they arise with contracts.
- Coordinates with the HR – Clinical Contract Coordinator to monitor and evaluate contract returns and ensures Workday is the accurate data system of record and recommends appropriate remedial action as necessary.
- Maintains all agreement templates and required attachments
- Responsible for creation of all agreements associated with company mergers and integrations
- Performs various auditing of agreements and produces reports specific to agreements
- Perform other job-related projects, as assigned
- May assist and/or provide data input into Workday, specific to compensation changes
- Manage changes to Master Rate sheet

- Knowledge and skills in using personal computers (Windows) with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Office Programs- Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years contract processing experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience and knowledge of Word merges and Excel
- Experience with DocuSign
- Must demonstrate ability to solve problems and work through complex issues independently
- Approaches tasks with a collaborative approach to work and builds strong partnerships
- Must be able to balance timely completion and resolution of tasks with quality results
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a growing company
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information in a mature and discrete manner, as well as protect all forms of highly confidential and proprietary business information and ability to maintain the highest standards of privacy and security
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform the job
