With limited supervision, provides specialized operational and administrative support to the Health Sciences Clinical Operations & Compliance office. Performs moderately complex tasks related to student clinical compliance processes, including communication, document tracking, and database management. Supports compliance readiness for clinical placement by ensuring required documentation is collected, tracked, and routed appropriately for review.Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks
- Serves as a support contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding clinical compliance requirements, processes, and deadlines
- Responds to high-volume email inquiries, providing accurate and timely guidance while escalating complex or sensitive issues to the Clinical Compliance Coordinator
- Maintains and updates clinical compliance tracking databases to ensure accurate and current student records
- Assists in monitoring compliance status for required documentation, including immunizations, drug screenings, and criminal background checks
- Reviews submitted documents for completeness and accuracy; identifies missing or inconsistent information and follows up as needed
- Flags potential compliance concerns and escalates items requiring interpretation or further review to the Clinical Compliance Coordinator
- Assists with generating reports related to compliance status, deadlines, and program needs
- Supports onboarding and orientation processes by communicating compliance expectations and assisting students with submission procedures
- Maintains organized electronic records to support audit readiness and compliance verification
- Contributes to process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency, tracking accuracy, and student compliance rates
- Provides support for training materials or guidance documents related to clinical compliance processes as needed
Additional Job Specific Duties
- Supports the Clinical Compliance Coordinator with daily operations related to clinical compliance tracking and communication
- Assists in coordinating timelines aligned with academic and clinical placement schedules
- Maintains strict confidentiality of student records and compliance documentation in accordance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.
Knowledge
- Working knowledge of administrative and operational processes in a healthcare or higher education environment
- Familiarity with clinical compliance requirements such as immunizations, drug screening, and background checks (process-level understanding, not interpretation)
- Understanding of data tracking systems and documentation workflows

- Ability to maintain an established work schedule and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Required Education
