About the Role:
As the Clinical Care Manager at our Hugh Cunningham Gardens Residential Care home in Tura Beach, you will assume clinical leadership responsibility for the delivery of high-quality care and care planning for our 66 residents. You will be accountable for the supervision of nursing and care teams, management of the clinical governance framework and play a key role in the quality improvement cycle for our facility.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Play a key change management role in the opening of two new residential wings
  • Deliver exceptional clinical care - medical/rehabilitative, dementia and restorative
  • Elevate lifestyle, wellbeing, social connection, and care for our residents
  • Demonstrate leadership in embedding quality and safety as a key focus
  • Establish operating rhythms with team members to create an open and inclusive culture
  • Support and enable the development of Clinical and Care teams by providing hands-on education and training and identify opportunities for growth
  • Promote the profile of RSL LifeCare in the local area by building relationships with health and community groups
  • Support the Facility Manager to ensure Clinical and Care labour cost-management initiatives are fully adopted

About You:
To be considered for this position, we are seeking people who have:

  • A current AHPRA registration
  • A minimum 5 years’ postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, or another relevant environment
  • Experience managing compliance with regulatory standards
  • Sound understanding of person-centred approaches to clinical care and support
  • Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and ability to build meaningful relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to make good decisions which balance commercial outcomes with customer experience
  • Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound financial acumen as evidenced by prior budget management experience
