SUMMARY

The Clinical Analyst is responsible for data collection, analysis, and presentation to improve clinical quality for the participants. This will occur by utilizing internal and external sources such as, but not limited to health care data systems, electronic medical records, paid claims, medical record, and national/regional benchmarks. The Clinical Analyst analyzes data and trends in order to identify underlying problems and suggests opportunities for improvement not limited to current practices, policies and procedures and end to end work flows. The Clinical Analyst is also responsible for compilation and submission of data to external benchmarking databases, creating tools to be used in data collection, analysis and reporting of clinical, demographic and utilization information to various departments and committees. The clinical analyst is skilled in taking large quantities of data and organizing and presenting in a way that tells a story that is actionable by a variety of stakeholders including physicians, nurses, and health care administrators and health care professionals. The Clinical Analyst will participate in the determination of annual Quality Improvement Plan and other clinical and process improvements.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
