Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Certification in Healthcare Quality, Patient Safety or related Accreditation entity recommended.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in health-related fields or Registered Nurse. Experience with healthcare data in a healthcare organization strongly preferred. Thoroughly understands the elements of registries and databases relevant to assigned projects and identifies data integrity issues using complex analysis of the data. Communicates effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats with teammates, supervisors, department heads, and all clients using appropriate terminology and grammar. Proficiency using computer software tools and Windows operating system. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Strong ability to apply the principles and practices of data management. Ability to work effectively and independently manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze and solve issues and problems. Ability to initiate and follow through on projects of both short- and long-term duration.
Experience Required:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment which requires walking, standing, and long periods of sitting and computer use. Surveillance work requires walking throughout the facility. Occasionally requires carrying up to twenty-five (25) pounds of materials (files, laptop, etc.,). Travels to AHN Facilities in personal vehicle as needed. Must have a current Ga. Driver’s License. Requires the ability to work rapidly and accurately under pressure, to work in a safe and effective manner, and to handle different issues and priorities simultaneously. Can clearly communicate verbally, in person, and in writing. Must possess a strong sense of urgency and make sound decision within limited time frame Carries out responsibilities in a professional manner always, as well as possesses ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other teammates on an individual and team basis.
