Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinic Receptionist of Marshall Medical Center Physician Clinics schedules, greets and registers patients, provides reception, routing phone calls to the appropriate party and collects payments when necessary.  In addition, this position provides clerical support to the clinic on a daily basis.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge:                           

• Basic medical terminology, insurance billing, and computer familiarity is required.

Skills:                                     

• Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

• Basic office equipment familiarity

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

• Maintains positive disposition at all times is required.
